Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is staying cool in the summer heat. We are enjoying a short
time with our children this Summer. 
Dax is here from Bellingham; he is about to start a new church in that city.
Chad continues faithfully working here in Bend, Oregon.
Shay is also visiting from Austria; we continue to pray for his church in Vienna.
So, we are having a wonderful summer, the Lord blesses us so much.
I remember what an older pastor once said to me in Burkina, he said that there is nothing
as good as knowing that your children follow the Lord. Ya sida? (that is truth) That
is 3 John 4.
A New Trip - For the Wendpanga School
We are now preparing for a trip to Africa in just two months. I did not think I would
return, but the Lord has other ideas. We will be teaching at the Wend Panga school.
We expect 140 men, all pastors, who will be eager to learn the Word of God and take it to
their own small congregations. We are blessed to be able to teach through the Gospel of
John as well as Ezra, Nehemiah, and Haggai this trip.
Church Roofs
We will also be building churches, providing as many roofs as we have money for. The church
continues to grow, and there is such need for believers there to have simple structures to
worship God in.
Prayer Requests
Please pray for:
- Rain for Burkina. The rains have not been good so far this year; if rain does not
come, many will go hungry. Pray for God's provision.
- Personal strength. We are not sure how many more times we will go to Burkina;
it gets harder as we get older and have physical limitations.
- Effective ministry. We desire to be used of the Lord to touch many, in His
strength and power. We especially ask for prayer for the teaching at the Wendpanga
Center.
- Our family's ministry. Shay continues ministering in Austria; Dax is starting
a new church in Bellingham. Pray for God's hand on them.
